Home / Practice / Faq / What age should my child first visit an orthodontist

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children visit an Orthodontist by the age of 7 years. For most children orthodontic treatment is not needed until all or most of their permanent teeth have come into the mouth. In my office early treatment is used to intercept and correct the following problems.

You can read more about this on our website When should a child first be seen.
